How to get to the Congress Venue


Athens is accessible by all means of transport. The main entrance gate is the ‘Eleftherios Venizelos’ Athens International Airport. 

Metro

Take the Metro from the Athens International Airport to Sygrou-Fix Metro Station close to Panteion University

1. Line No 3 (blue) direction "Aghia Marina"

2. at Metro Station “Syntagma” change to Line 2 (red) direction “Elliniko”

3. disembark at Syngrou-Fix Metro Station on Syngrou Avenue

Panteion University (136 Syngrou Av.) is a 10 minutes’ walk (direction South) from Syngrou-Fix Metro Station

BUS Service 24/7 (including holidays)

There are some options on bus lines: 040, A2, B2, E22, E90, 106, 126, 136, 137, 550 (“Panteios” stop).

For example: Bus No. X95 to Syntagma Square (Athens city center). Then take Bus No. A2 to bus stop Panteios. From here, you need only 1 minute's walk to Panteion University.

Taxi Service

Taxis are available outside Exit 3 of the airport's Arrivals Level.

Passport and Visa Information 


To enter Greece, you may need a Passport and/or a Visa, depending on the country you live in. For EU citizens who travel to Greece, no passport is required, just the identity card with latin characters is enough. For the non EU citizens, a valid passport is necessary to enter Greece. In case you lose your passport in Greece, the local police and the embassy of your home country must be contacted.
