L'Hôtel de Ville de Lyon (the City Hall of Lyon), one of the biggest historic building in Lyon. It is located between Place des Terreaux and Place de la Comédie, where it faces the Opera House. It has been classified as a historical monument since July 12, 1886.

How to get there:
From Université de Lyon (stop Quai Claude Bernard) to Hôtel de Ville: Get there on foot Bellecour 15 min (1000m), then take Metro A in the direction of "Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie" and stop at "Hotel de Ville Louis Pradel” and walk 4 min.
From Part Dieu (stop Gare Part Dieu Jules Favre) to Hôtel de Ville: Take Bus C3 in the direction of "Gare Saint Paul" and stop at "Hôtel de Ville Louis Pradel”, then walk 4 min.
Get-Together Party - Wednesday, August 28
In the tradition of the ERSA congresses, The Local Organising Committee organise a social event on Wednesday, 28 August which will be held in the barge "The Boat" for the ERSA's flagship evening, now known by everyone as "Get-Together Party". Let yourself be tempted by the charms of the banks of the Rhone by boarding this barge bar for a cocktail party.
With its large room and its outdoor terrace, the Boat will allow you to be disoriented with breath-taking views of Lyon, at sunset, overlooking the Cathedral of Fourvière and the Hôtel Dieu. Close to the University of Lyon where Congress will be held.
The banks of the Rhone are like a lung of the city of Lyon. There are walkers, sportsmen and people wanting to party in the various floating bars. It is therefore an ideal place to spend a convivial moment over a drink.

The Boat is a houseboat located on the Rhone. Access from the University of Lyon is along the docks for about 17 minutes while walking or around 30 minutes by public transport.

From Université de Lyon (stop Quai Claude Bernard) to The Boat: Take tramway T1 in the direction of "IUT Feyssine" and stop at "Liberté”, then walk 8/10min.
From Part Dieu (stop Gare Part Dieu Jules Favre) to The Boat : Take Bus C3 in the direction of "Gare Saint Paul" and stop at "Cordeliers”, then walk 10 min.

The labEx IMU is very happy to invite you to a friendly evening placed, above all, under the sign of good humour. The theme of the evening is "urban games & science". On site, you will have the opportunity to try games designed by research laboratories and practitioners of the city, URBALOG, ROBOSPECTIVE, GAME AGAINST THE FLOOD, TRAMWAY IN VIEW ... You will also find a video game area, animated by the studio Lyonnais UBISOFT, IVORY-TOWER, showing the latest technologies in video game production, it is very impressive. Finally, there will be a Virtual Reality space where we will have the pleasure to welcome the architect Valerio BONORA inventor of 3DRudder, a revolutionary interface promoted to a bright future that we would have the pleasure to test.
