Founded in 1888, Sofia University is the oldest and most prestigious higher education institution in Bulgaria. The university is located in the historic centre of Sofia and is within walking distance of several key landmarks such as the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the National Assembly, and the Borisova Garden park.
The congress sessions will be hosted in several buildings within the university campus. The Aula Magna of Sofia University will host the opening ceremony and the main plenary sessions.
