Shannon Airport is located approximately 100 kilometres from Cork. This airport has direct flights to the USA, UK, and continental Europe. It also has pre-clearance immigration approval for the US. Shannon Airport is connected to Cork by bus, which takes approximately 2 ½ hours from the terminal building to Cork city centre.
