Claude Lacour is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Bordeaux and the Bordeaux Sciences Economiques laboratory. He is specialist in urban and spatial economics, with a strong focus on other disciplines. His research focuses on spatial planning, metropolitan dynamics and the technological trajectories of cities and regions. His latest publications are on "Regional science and the COVID-19 crisis" which leads to a review of the fundamental concepts of regional science.
